Elysium Artists and Portland Millwork host Wilsonville High School art students in a show opening Feb. 11 and hanging until March 5.
The opening reception will be from 5-8 pm Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Portland Millwork, 29600 S.W Seely Avenue, Wilsonville. The event is open to the public from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.-noon on Saturdays.
This group exhibition will feature work from the award-winning Wilsonville High School art program, including paintings, drawings, mixed-media works, and photography. Selected pieces were recently recognized by the judges in the Portland Metro Area Scholastic Art Awards, a regional event that precedes the national competition later this spring.
Other works in this show have appeared in the best of Oregon biennial high school art show hosted by Or
egon College of Art and Craft, and at last year’s regional High School Art Northwest at George Fox University.
Also hanging work at this show will be photography students from De La Salle North Catholic High School of Portland. The school provides a rigorous, faith-based high school-education and a professional internship program for all students.
