Leftover prescription drugs? Turn them in

Unwanted and expired medications can be turned in during a collection event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in Wilsonville.
This prescription drug turn-in event takes place at Wilsonville’s Public Works building.
What to bring to the collection:
– Expired or unwanted prescription medications
– Unneeded over-the-counter medicines
– Drugs that didn’t work for you, a family member or a pet
– Drugs that are no longer used
– Medicine from deceased family members
– Unknown tablets and capsules
All medicines should be left in their original containers. Do not bring thermomenters, needles or medical waste of any type.

Since the purpose of this prescription drop-off is to "secure and dispose" of these unused meds, don't you agree that some information about who is taking possesion of these drugs and how they will disposed of is needed...also keeping them in their original containers offers personal information to be passsed on to an unknown someone...doesn't sound like a good thing to do at this point!!
