Country Classic featuring $25,000 Grand Prix opens on Wednesday

Largest Willamette Valley equestrian event of the year is free and open to the public at Hunter Creek Farm outside Wilsonville

Photo By: Marissa OchsJumping is the name of the game when it comes to equestrian event such as the Country Classic, set for July 11-15 at Wilsonville's Hunter Creek Farm.
The Country Classic is the biggest equestrian event each summer in the Willamette Valley.  And with the London Olympic Games opening later this month, the event may well to grab even more attention than normal, thanks to the emergence of local rider Rich Fellers and his successful quest to grab a slot on the American Olympic team.
