Wilsonville Public Library Director Pat Duke worked with the Boones Ferry Historical Society to find a central location in the library for all of the books, scrapbooks and documents gathered on the history of Wilsonville.
How old is Old Town? Who is the Boone of Boone’s Ferry? Where did Wilsonville get its name? All these questions and more can be answered by a visit to the Wilsonville Public Library, where a collection of newspapers, scrapbooks and recorded oral histories all record the past of a dynamic town that moved from the river to the train tracks before finally centering itself around the interstate.
