Wilsonville veteran recounts naval service during World War Two

“I knew I was going to be drafted,” recounts U.S. Navy veteran Verne Reinmuth. “So I enlisted.” That was a common sentiment in the United States during the Second World War, and Reinmuth certainly was no exception.
