A draft of the Basalt Creek Transportation Refinement Plan shows the long-term plans for east-west connections in the Wilsonville/Tualatin area.
A somewhat contentious roadway known as the “east-west concept,” which will someday connect Tualatin-Sherwood Road to Interstate 5 through northern Wilsonville’s Basalt Creek area, won unanimous approval from city, county, Metro and state leaders last month, despite pleas from several homeowners in the path of the planned five-lane roadway.
