Costa Pacific Communities owner Rudy Kablub (far right) called on local members of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Judy Redler Winter (left) and Doris Cameron-Minard, as well as Bob Nikkel, a former state mental health administrator, to find a way to appropriately remember the former Dammasch State Hospital.
A $200 plaque just didn’t seem like enough. Certainly not enough to commemorate the former Dammasch State Hospital, which once overlooked Wilsonville’s west side.
