New Rotary board
New board members for the Rotary Club of Wilsonville.
The Rotary Club of Wilsonville recently toasted in a new board of directors at an installation held amongst the scenic vineyards of St. Josef’s Winery in Canby. The board now will be led by president John Wysock, who has set the goal of expanding club membership in order to increase its capacity to serve the community. This includes the Summer Concert Series, Heart of Gold, First Citizen Award, Through A Child’s Eyes (TACE) at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, Scholarships and Omelette/Pancake breakfasts.

COMMUNITY An evening of bowling will be hosted from 4 p.m.-midnight Wednesday, Aug. 25, by Wilsonville Lanes, 29040 S.W. Town Center Loop East, to assist employee Donny Barham financially as he recovers from injuries suffered during a violent home invasion and robbery earlier this month.

Coffee Creek Correctional Facility and the roughly 1,100 female inmates it houses have definitely become a part of the Wilsonville community.For instance, a contingent appeared Friday at Town Center Park in Wilsonville, where they worked alongside volunteers from the Rotary Club of Wilsonville to help set up the elaborate infrastructure surrounding this year’s Fun In The Park festival.
