Wilsonville residents with a love for theater have the opportunity to see performances in town from a local theater group this month.

Wilsonville STAGE will be performing A.R. Gurney’s “Love Letters” three times in May at the Tauchman House, located at 31240 SW Boones Ferry Road. The opening performance will take place Friday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m., followed by performances on Friday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 17 at 7:30.

The website describes the play as “a tender, and often very funny, study of thwarted love.” It follows an upper middle class rebel named Melissa and “a stuffy upper-middle-class striver” named Andy, as they read aloud a lifetime of letters they have written.
